So a random search on CL of "turbo" with a max price of 4k turned up this gem. Unfortunately there are no pictures, but the parts list makes me wonder why the hell anyone would put this much money into a Tercel of all things. It's kinda like souping up a Stanza or something, sure you can do it, but why?

No pictures because who the hell would want to see pictures of a Tercel anyways....lol

However, from what I understand modding Tercels was kind of big elsewhere in the world. Maybe he was just working with what he had and wanted to be different.

No hate here, just amusement. It's a lot of money to drop into a very basic, albeit light, fwd car that never really had any sporting pretensions to begin with. That said, I'd rather see 100 of these kind of projects than another stanced out piece of junk that gets high centered going over a speed bump.

The Echo is a cool, cute spacious lil car that gets great mpg and is very reliable. It's just too bad we never got the Echo hatchback (at least Canada did, though)
